Edmonton Lunar Eclipse on Winter Solstice | Edmonton Personal Photography

I feel so fortunate to have the chance to witness the beautiful lunar eclipse on winter solstice, the shortest day of the year (which apparently happened last in 1638, 456 years ago!!! Wow!)┬áMother nature and its phenomena are simply breathtaking (even in -20 Celsius weather :S) I weathered it through (with my freezing hands…. it’s just sooooo tough trying set the camera with clumsy big gloves) and went out to photograph the beautiful progress of the Lunar eclipse… and also got a opportunity to enjoy it with my beautiful lovely wife…. Romantic, freezing, and amazing! Enjoy! ~Romy
